It's just textbook stuff

This has got to be my most unproductive day yet in the June hols so far. What I did, from last night onwards:

-Took a shower
-Watched No Reservations
-Went to sleep
-3 Alarms went off from 715 till 9 but I snoozed all of them
-Woke up
-Bathed
-Watched Because I Said So
-Went back to sleep
-Woke up near 3
-Lazing around now

Mind you I felt sick so I had a cup of Hot Milo YUMMYY and read an edition of Newsweek. I read Newsweek. I don’t know whether that’s an accomplishment or not. I’m watching Restless with my sister tonight And I actually don’t feel like going because I woke up with cramps and feel peevishly sick now. Phwoar. And why must it be thundering the day that I have to get there myself!!!

Mood: Not in the mood
PS I LOVE YOU, even if you think it’s out of this world and don’t believe me I do; and it hurts badly to see you elsewhere with other people, but I’ll let go. I’m trying to.

Need to study, enjoying hols too much. CIP at the haven’s much better now, the wall’s coming together. It looks good! I painted the clouds, just so you know HAHA THAT IS THE EASIEST, it’s just white paint! All over Dainan’s lovely green gradient. I will take a photo once we’re done and post it up! It’s a great feeling to know how you made a difference to some people’s home. Besides the team is fun and I’m bonding with my cool classmates, that’s nice isn’t it. It’s nice to like my class a lot and want to be with them. Thank you C and X particularly

Do you know what it’s like to love something more than it hurts?

I’ve realized over the course of the past few days that I really am so blessed to have many very special people in my life. It’s strange that how only when you get near the end, that you actually had it all along, and never loved it so much till now.

In a matter of days the 33rds begin their journey into council with June Camp, I remember everything about MY june camp. We had what, 1 million and 1 push ups, 1 million and 1 tears, 1 million and 1 encouragements. They told us that all of that pain and perseverance was going to show us what council would really be like for the next one year long journey.

THEY WEREN’T KIDDING..

The tears were but a few of all the emotional rollercoasters we all went through, I remember crying like shit after Orientation ended because that really changed my life, I remember I cried like shit when I got my 5 demerits, I remember I cried so much when we got into all that disciplinary trouble. The 9.6km walk cum run was but what it was like this year, for not 8 hours, but rather the past 6 months that just flew by. That’s only to name a few.

I can’t believe it’s all going to end soon, drama council.. My class? Everything. I’ve come to love school life in a more whole form in the past few months and I can’t thank God more for that. Though there may have been ups and downs and twirls and swirls and it’s never been easy I SURVIVED IT, omg. And I’ve loved every bit of it

At first I was so sore I didn’t get chosen to be in june camp but if there’s anything I’ve learnt in the past year and a hlf in AC, it’s that God always has a plan, and now I see why I’m not in june camp, that there are better people to lead the 33rds and make them great, that I need the time to spend with my family at hom before we move out mid july, that I have to get my ass down to studying (I’ve done revision, sort of is that counted?) and all sorts of things.

Here’s what I wrote in my Orientation report, and it was just. A fantastic report to write because it made me reflect on council as a whole.

“ In our 6 months as an ad hoc (REALLY, I COUNTED) I went through such an emotional rollercoaster, I can remember I was so bored during our first ad hoc meeting, I was so angry after the second ad hoc meeting because it was so unproductive, I was so mixed feeling-ish after I found out I’d be secretary/treasurer, I was so frustrated during the period of all the criticisms, I was so inspired after getting SCOLDED (like OMG I know), I was so.. Elated during Orientation 1 because I loved everything about it, I was so close to breaking down towards Orientation 2, and I was so sad when 22^nd Feb came and Orientation ended officially yet unofficially for the ad hoc.”

And that’s what it’s like to love something, or what you’re doing so much till it hurts.

I hate my skin and I hate it so bad I hate it till it hurts and makes me upset and tired thinking about it. I hate my fingers which look so swollen and diseased and disgusting and gross and how they hurt and bleed and I just watch them despite lathering on mountains of moisturizer. I’ve come to the conclusion: It doesn’t work.

I hate my foot and whatever it is on my damn foot and its causing my skin to crack and I can’t walk prperly. Much less alone run. It stems from the way I walk which stems from the way I’m structured, maybe I’m too heavy, and then it stems from the different leg lengths I have, the right being shorter than the left.

I hate it and I hate the way it makes me feel day after day.

We got a gold. No honours, Madam told comm not to cry but to look strong and be strong for the cast and crew and whoever was involved in all of this. The feeling really sucked and I was so stoned when we found out because I didn’t know what to feel. 4 schools got honours, and that sucked more. I really feel nothing.
While I’m way honoured to get shortlisted for the PSC psychometric test thing unlike ___, I don’t know if it’s the right choice for me to attend it because it might just screw my future’s chances up. I’m very undecided about it. I guess I can just not show up, it’s not a do or die issue here.
I need to arrange my holidays now that it’s officially kind of started. I need to clear my desk and throwaway whatever I really don’t need anymore, like the old textbooks I keep as memories of days gone by, I need to grow up and move on so that everything will hurt less.
I can’t believe we’re moving in less than 2 months time and it sucks because I don’t want to move and have to face reality about my family’s money problems.
I hate the way things are going on in China and Myanmar now because I wish God would help them more and it’s so heartwrenching to see people crying and heartbroken and not know what you can do, of course money but who says i’ve got any of that right now, having spent a uselss $15 on cabfare, mind you I’m not over it yet if you read this.
I’m relieved the holidays are here but it’s gonna be so packed. Plus I just.. Want to get away from it all now, but not NOWNOW, maybe second week I suppose.
My foot and hand are in really bad shape. Foot- fungal infection, Hand- inflamed eczema. Fuck
I saw a ghost from the past, not say dead, but dead to me because I let ‘it’ go a long time ago, and that day everything just came flooding back to me, all memories I had both good and bad.

Sigh.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget their gifts.. With Little Miss Dotty, and now The Little Prince, and the sequined purple star on Arabian Nights1, and the pretty butterfly on Theatre night2 which sits by my bed side, and the sweet little cup with P&P written on it with the most gorgeous rosebud ever..

I won’t forget anything to do with ACSian Theatre, I believe, it just put so much colour into my life.

It makes me wonder.. After everything happening.. If you get what I mean really and figuratively and whichever way you’d want to take it..

where was God in all, and everything of this???

Sometimes it just feels so alone and right now I wish He’d be there, I know He is, but yet that’s blind faith, the suffering of people is just too much. Everywhere, it’s so frightening it scares me, and today the devotions was about where was God?

He was there I guess, so much for my faith which is just.. Diminishing , but I know He carried us when we couldn’t walk.
